While I am not any advocate of PVC in the built environment, I believe the work of the committee was balanced and thorough. Moreover, I the proposed PVC avoidance credit lacked validity since it did not recognize the value of products manufactured with recycled-content PVC. I have added reference to the CIWMB study on products manufactured with recycled-content PVC as a citation.
